Is 2fact.io legal to use?

Yes. You may only use 2fact.io numbers for accounts that belong to you or your organization. We enforce strict compliance rules with all telecom providers.

Can I use my number for multiple services?

Yes. Most users use their dedicated number for receiving OTPs from multiple websites.

Do numbers support both SMS and voice?

Most numbers support SMS and MMS. Voice support varies by country. Your dashboard will show the capabilities of each number.

How do I receive incoming messages?

Messages appear instantly inside your dashboard under “Messages.” Developers can also set up a webhook to receive messages programmatically.

Can I release a number?

Yes. You can release a number at any time. It will return to your organization’s pool or back to the provider depending on settings.

What countries do you support?

We currently support U.S. and international numbers via MessageBird. Additional providers (Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth) will be added soon.

How long does it take for new numbers to activate?

Most numbers activate instantly. Some countries require identity verification or business KYC.

Can I connect this to my own backend?

Yes. You can pull messages using our API or subscribe to webhook events.
